We go beyond the traditional services of the wire houses and broker dealers to provide truly personalized service based around the needs of our clientele. We accomplish this through education, wealth or investment planning, and the development and supervision of unique personalized portfolios for individuals, corporations and financial institutions.

Officially, the representatives of Buttonwood Financial Group, LLC are Investment Advisor Representatives with, and offer Securities through, Linsco/Private Ledger, a Registered Investment Advisor and a member of NASD and SIPC.  We are located in the Buttonwood Building on Main Street in Kansas City, MO.

We currently employ four licensed professionals as well as a support staff. Through LPL, we direct financial planning and advisory services for over $260,000,000 in assets for individuals, corporations, trusts and retirement plans. In addition to direct asset management, we serve as consultants to an additional asset base of over $300,000,000.

Buttonwood is unique in that we bring together services that are tailored to each client’s personal situation. The financial professionals of Buttonwood can be hired on a commission, fee, or hourly basis based upon the preference of each client. Our services range from the comprehensive review, evaluation, recommendation, management, and reporting of a client's financial life down to just one of those components, again based upon client preference. Our offices are staffed during regular business hours but we remain accessible 24/7 because financial matters don’t always occur during “regular business hours.”

We often work with clients who have strong existing legal and accounting relationships but if these services are not covered satisfactorily we stand ready to bring professionals to the table who can accommodate specific needs. Our goal is to develop a lifetime and even multi-generational relationship with the families and businesses we work with. Generally our investment strategies are long-term oriented and goal focused.
