There are now two different ways you can view your assets while working with Buttonwood!
is our basic service. Account View will summarize assets held directly at LPL, allow downloads of data to Quicken and more!
(BWMS) is our fully comprehensive financial reporting / planning / tracking service. Through the BWMS you can view, in aggregate, all of your financial assets in one location!
At Buttonwood we assist our clients to take control of their financial lives. Not only can you view updated values of your assets on a daily basis, the values will update your personal financial plan thus enabling much more accurate planning and forecasting.
Accounts that can be linked through BWMS include:
- Individual stock and bond positions held at transfer agents
- Bank Accounts (checking, savings, CD's, money markets, etc)
- Insurance (Life, Long Term Care, Disability, Business Overhead, etc)
- Investment accounts at a brokerage firm (Merrill, E-trade, Schwab, etc)
- Frequent flyer / mileage / rewards plans
- Stock Options and grants
- Mortgage loans
- Home Equity accounts
- Credit Cards
- Student Loan accounts
And many more! Almost any account you can access from the internet can be aggregated into the Buttonwood WMS!
Once accounts are linked to BWMS, you can view a number of reports to help you track progress of your financial life. These reports, with values updated daily, include:
- Asset summary
- Balance sheet
- Statement of cash flows (current & 5 year+)
- Estate planning flow charts
- Estate planning calculations (including estate liquidity and transfer)
- Income tax calculations (today & future income and capital gains)
- Insurance summary (including needs analysis and resource impact)
- Stock Options and grants
And many more!
Included in our WMS is the ability to run "what if" scenarios to make sure your plan is on track. These include:
- Retirement early
- Move to part time employment
- Disability occurs
- Inflation rises
- Long Term Care is needed
- Premature Death
